Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th in 1967. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Her father was a young man when he became interested in theater. In 1952, while a student of Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, he was commissioned into the air force in the year 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in 1957. In 1957 the couple left the military and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter was recruited as a technician by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the television show Bum Bum His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou began producing a television show for children in Decatur, Georgia called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They funded the show by themselves. The Actors and Writers Workshop was founded in 1964 and ran for 6 years. They had two more children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also known by the name Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also also known by the same name Julie).
