Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France, was born on the 9th August, 1976. Audrey Tautou is an elder child of four. Her parents a dental surgeon and teacher recognized and encouraged her passion for theater and acting at an early age, which overcame her initial ambition to be a primatologist due to her love of monkeys. The early success of her career and the rapid increase in recognition was a sign of her development as an actor. Following her graduation She was a part of the French talent-spotting TV show Jeunes Premiers which was backed by Canal+. She won the Most Outstanding Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her acting career. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but is now separating herself from these upbringings. Modeling and acting were intertwined. Tautou was the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is known as The Chanel Muse. She also has a serious interest in photography and recently exhibited her work during the Arles Festival, titled Superficial. Her photographs is mainly focused on celebrities and fame. The camera's focus is towards journalists who scrutinized her as she rose to fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's global popularity and success exploded following her performance in the film as Amelie Poulain's lead lady in Le Fabuleux Destin in the film d'Amelie. Amelie won international acclai box office success and was acclaimed at awards ceremonies across the globe. It's also the biggest French language film ever to be released in the US. The popularity of the film led Tautou to a variety of roles, ranging from British dramas such as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
