Zazie Olivia Beetz was born Berlin in 1991. Her birthplace was in Berlin, Germany. Her mother is a South African-American Social Worker who hails from New York. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high school as Beetz. Beetz was a student of French at Skidmore College after graduating LaGuardia. Beetz immediately began auditioning after her college graduation and was offered the part of Van in Atlanta. Beetz is a native of Berlin with a German father as well as an African American Mother.
